Educational background
Roman Boos laid the foundation of his knowledge in the field of renewable energy through his master’s degree in Wind Energy Technology. -
Early professional experience
He entered the professional world in 2014 as an assessor for onshore and offshore wind turbines. In this role, he conducted visual and functional inspections of various wind turbines. He also supervised the production of nacelles and hubs at the manufacturer, performed loading and inspection work in the base port, and carried out commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks offshore. -
Expanded areas of responsibility
Subsequently, Boos transitioned into the position of an asset manager. In this role, he was responsible for the technical and commercial management, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancement of different wind farms in Germany and the UK. -
Project management
Before his current role as a freelancer, he served as a senior project manager, leading projects for maintenance and replacement of major components in offshore wind farms. -
Current career path
In 2023, Roman Boos decided to offer his extensive knowledge and experience on a freelance basis. He founded Reventos – energy consulting to contribute to the growth of the renewable energy sector.
